    The bow of the Lamma IV boat (C) is seen partially submerged during rescue operations (AFP, Antony Dickson) Bot Lamma IV mula tenggelam semasa operasi mencari dan menyelamat sedang dijalankan, semalam selepas ia berlanggar dengan sebuah feri di luar pantai Hong Kong, mengakibatkan 38 orang terbunuh. - AFP HONG KONG 2 Okt. - Sekurang-kurangnya 38 orang maut, manakala berpuluh-puluh lagi cedera selepas sebuah feri yang membawa sekumpulan pekerja yang sedang bercuti berlanggar dengan sebuah lagi feri sebelum karam di perairan Hong Kong, malam tadi. Pihak berkuasa berkata, bot milik Syarikat Elektrik Hong Kong itu membawa seramai 120 orang penumpang terdiri daripada kakitangan dan keluarga mereka bagi menyaksikan persembahan bunga api sempena Hari Kebangsaan China di Pelabuhan Victoria, petang semalam, sebelum nahas itu berlaku berdekatan pulau Lamma.
